The YMCA reaches a large number of swimmers annually. Our swimmers benefit from diverse programmes including: basic swimming, lifeguard training, flight attendant swimming courses and recreational activity.

Our instructors are trained in accordance to international standards. They have all received training up to bronze medallion qualifying instructors in life saving techniques.

Our newly refurbished pool has been extended to 25 meters and finished in a high quality pool interior known as Diamond Brite.

Diamond Brite combines extremely durable quartz aggregates and polymer modified Portland cement accented with non-fading quartz aggregates in a variety of colours. The result is a unique finish that can withstand the effects of extreme weather, harsh chemicals, as well as years of fun. The finish is not just beautiful to the eye, but prevents the need for excessive chemical use and down time for cleaning. These features enable increased accessibility to the pool.
